The Meeting House is in central Taunton with easy access from the Crescent Car Park. We have recently put in a new tea making area and have a toilet suitable for people with disabilities.

We will be happy to show you the premises if you would like to do so before hiring.

Children’s Meeting

Just to let everyone know I am starting a Children's Meeting for age groups 0-11 years old. During the Life Council I have managed to get a mentor from Bristol who runs such a group. The Children's Meeting will be at Taunton and is open to all parents in the Area Meeting. It takes place on the thrid Sunday of each month. I do not envisage parents going into Meeting and leaving their children. Instead I am breaking new ground in that the parents will stay in one half of the children's room and get to know one another while two people will look after the children's activities. I hope to issue a programme soon and a poster to put up in Meeting Houses. All Welcome. At the end of 50 minutes we will all enter the Meeting Room and take part in the last 10 minutes of the Meeting. Children are welcome to minister. Children will then share in the tea coffee and juice. If there are any dietary needs please can you let me know. zoeainsworth@aol.com. We could offer a plate of fruit perhaps.
